Veronica Frosi
Parma
Veronica Frosi, born in 2001, is a paracyclist from Parma. A wheelchair user since birth, Veronica is an art lover and an artist by nature, and from an early age she’s been using art as therapy. This has been a major driver in her life as well as in sport, and to her, the handbike is the best way to combine her love of art with her determination in sport. Willpower and grit are the bywords that have driven her day after day to get better and better.
In 2017, she was one of the first top five athletes selected by Obiettivo3. Thanks to O3, to training, and to competitions, she’s discovered a world where she can break through her limits and keep improving, chasing her dream to compete in the Paralympics. She’s already on her way, with six medals under her belt (including a gold) at the Italian championships in the H1 category. All while keeping true to her favourite motto: “Don’t knock yourself, knock’em dead!”.
