Massimo Salmaso

Massimo Salmaso was born in 1971 in Padua. He’s always been sporty, and a lover of swimming and rugby since high school. At the age of twenty, he joined the police force and even during this period of his life he didn’t stop training, trying out boxing and kick boxing.
In 2007, following a severe motorbike accident, he was left 60% disabled, effectively losing the use of his left arm. In 2010, Massimo discovered a love for cycling, a sport that soon became an opportunity to turn his life around. In 2018 he met Alex Zanardi by chance during a training session, and immediately accepted his invitation to join Obiettivo3 athletes; he’s riding faster and faster every day towards new goals.
