Gioacchino Fittipaldi

Gioacchino Fittipaldi is a young athlete living in Milan, originally from Basilicata. A graduate of Bocconi University, he was paralysed following a moped accident in 2017, during his final year at university. Even before the accident he was playing a lot of sport; he later turned to handcycling as an outlet.
He learned about Obiettivo3 in hospital during his rehabilitation and immediately liked the project, as to Gioacchino sport is life, and a means for self-improvement. His short-term dream is to participate in the Paralympics; the long-term one is an Ironman.
